Q&A

How do I become a member?

Membership in the Society is open to all students at the College.  In order to be a member, one must have attended at least SIX of the Society’s meetings for that semester.  Members may take a leave of absence of up to one semester from the Society and still maintain membership status through the subsequent semester.

How do I run for an Executive Board Position?

The officers of the Society shall be: President, Vice President External, Vice President Internal, Treasurer, Secretary and Publicity Manager.  The term of each office lasts for one semester and there are no term limits except for the offices of the President and Vice President External, which are both limited to two terms.

ALL OFFICERS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND AT LEAST THREE-QUARTERS OF ALL CLUB MEETINGS.

IN ADDITION TO THIS REQUIREMENT, OFFICERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE PRESENT AT 12:00 P.M. PRIOR TO EACH CLUB MEETING ON THURSDAYS.
